MISSION REGISTRATION

There are two registration methods:

If you are paying your school's deposit by check, print and mail the completed registration form provided on the right side with your deposit.

If you are paying your school's deposit by credit card or purchase order, you may also use the secure, on-line form provided below.

Your school deposit must be received before a mission date and time can be reserved.


ON-LINE REGISTRATION FORM


Enrollment: A Challenger Learning Center mission will accommodate 16-32 students. Each group should also provide one adult chaperone for every 8 students.

Schedule: School missions run twice each day: 9:00 – 11:45 am and 12:15 – 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday (except holidays). Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled mission time.

Cost: Each mission costs $600, which includes the required teacher training, curriculum materials for pre- and post-mission classroom activities, and the full 2 hour, 45 minute simulated mission.

Reservations: Mission Registration Form along with a $100 deposit must be received at least 8 weeks prior to the mission. The completed Registration Form may be faxed to 309.661.1652 or mailed to Challenger Learning Center Director at Prairie Aviation Museum, 2901 E. Empire St., Bloomington, Illinois 61704. Balance of payment is due two weeks prior to the mission date. Failure to pay this balance will result in cancellation of the mission.

Confirmation: Once the Mission Registration Form and deposit are received, a confirmation letter will be sent to you listing all necessary information regarding mission date and time, payment, parking, arrival and departure times, etc. Special information on the pre-mission teacher training will also be sent at this time. Please read all materials carefully!

Cancellations: Cancellations must be received by mail, fax, or email to the Challenger Learning Center at Prairie Aviation Museum at least 4 weeks prior to the scheduled visit. Cancellations made after this date will result in forfeiture of $50 of the deposit. Failure to cancel a mission (no show) will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.

BEFORE CHOOSING: Please view our on-line calendar of available mission times. While this calendar is updated frequently, we cannot guarantee the availability of all dates and times.
