SUMMER CAMPS
Planning for 2012 summer camps has begun! The CLC located at Heartland Community College is excited to offer multi day camps that investigate the principles of flight, learn about living in space, explore the solar system and much more. It is sure to be an exciting summer as we EXPLORE our planet, the solar system, galaxies and universe.
Back by popular demand the CLC presents one day science camps. Students become rock stars, scientists, roller coaster engineers, physicists, artists and chefs during these three hour, one day sessions. These camps are sure to INSPIRE students of all ages.
Students who are unable to attend the multi day camp sessions can enroll for a one day camp. Those who had so much fun at the multi day camps can come back for more! Call 309-268-8160 to register.
Register for any camp program before June 1, 2012 and receive a 10% discount.
Registration via the Internet closes three days prior to the first day of camp. Registration via phone or in person remains open until the first day of the camp.

Then, students build their own "paper" planes and put their knowledge to the test as they make their planes fly. Hot air balloons and hovercrafts are another type of aircraft that students will be able to investigate and build during this camp. Finally, we lift off and explore space like never before!
