AT THE CLC YOU CAN....
GO ON A MISSION WITH YOUR CLASS
   Come to the CLC with your class! Prepare for your class mission during school and then go on a science or simulated space mission with your classmates. Missions are available for kindergarten - twelfth grade. Mission scenarios are: No Place Like Earth (K-2nd), New Horizons: Lost Satellite (3rd-4th), Rendezvous with a Comet (5th-7th), Voyage to Mars (6th-8th), and Operation: Planet Rescue (9th-12th). PARTICIPATE IN SUMMER CAMPS!
Planning for 2011 summer camps is underway. We have new multi day camps and one day camps for students. Kindergarten and first grade explore Mars, second and third grade study astronomy, fourth and fifth grade live in space, and sixth - eighth grade explore the universe. We have camps for girls and high school students.

Cost varies per camp. Early registration has ended, but registration for any camp remains open until the first day of the camp.

SHARE YOUR STORY
Have you or your school been to the Challenger Learning Center for a simulated space mission? Maybe you enrolled in summer camp or one of our public programs. Here's your chance to tell us what you thought about your mission, camp or program and how the CLC has made a difference to you.
With parent's permission, you can share your story with us by clicking here! Selected stories may be shared on January 28, 2011 when we pay tribute to the Challenger crew and share in the triumphs of the Challenger Learning Center. The program begins at 7:30 in the Astroth Community Education Center at Heartland Community College. Tours of the CLC begin are available from 7:00 up to the start of the program. This event is free and open to the public.
